Day 1: Cultural Capital & Ancient Wonders

Hargeisa City Tour: Depending on your arrival time, we explore the heart of the capital, Hargeisa. Visit the Civil War Memorial, the bustling Central Market, the unique money changers, and the vibrant Livestock Market. We also stop at the Hargeisa Cultural Centre for an engaging introduction to local art and history.

Laas Geel: We then head to Laas Geel, one of Africa’s most significant rock art sites. These vibrant, 10,000-year-old Neolithic paintings are incredibly well preserved. Along the way, we visit local nomadic families, offering a glimpse into traditional Somali pastoral life.

Coastal Berbera: We continue to the coastal city of Berbera. After checking into your hotel, enjoy a relaxing sunset swim or unwind on the beach. Optional boat rides or snorkeling activities are available. Dinner is served on a rooftop with stunning ocean views.

Day 2: Coastal Heritage & Mountain Vistas

Historic Berbera: After breakfast, explore the old quarter of Berbera, known for its fascinating blend of Ottoman and British colonial architecture. Visit the small fishermen’s port and relax at Batalaale Beach.

Sheikh Mountains: We depart the coast for the town of Sheikh Mountains. The journey offers breathtaking scenic views and a refreshing climate. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the mountains before returning to Hargeisa, where the tour concludes.
