Day 01: Arrival in Hargeisa

Begin your city tour with visits to the vibrant Hargeisa Central Market, the War Memorial featuring the famous MiG fighter jet, and the colorful livestock market, one of the largest in the Horn of Africa. Day 02: Hargeisa – Laas Geel Rock Art – Hargeisa

After breakfast, drive to the remarkable Laas Geel Rock Art Complex, home to some of Africa’s finest and best-preserved prehistoric cave paintings dating back more than 5,000 years. Explore the ancient shelters with your local guide and learn about their archaeological significance. Return to Hargeisa in the afternoon and visit local art galleries and handicraft shops before enjoying the evening at leisure. Overnight in Hargeisa.

Day 03: Hargeisa – Sheikh – Berbera

After breakfast, travel through the scenic Golis Mountains to the historic town of Sheikh, enjoying spectacular viewpoints along the way. Day 05: Berbera – Burao

Day 06: Burao – Erigavo

Continue your journey north through the scenic mountains to Erigavo, one of Somaliland’s most picturesque highland towns. Day 07: Daallo Mountains & Daallo Forest

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion to the spectacular Daallo Mountains, renowned for their lush forests, dramatic cliffs, cool temperatures, and breathtaking viewpoints. Explore the beautiful Daallo Forest, one of Somaliland’s most important natural attractions, with opportunities for hiking, birdwatching, and photography. Return to Erigavo for the evening. Day 08: Erigavo – Hargeisa

After breakfast, begin your scenic drive back to Hargeisa, stopping at villages and panoramic viewpoints along the route. Upon arrival, enjoy free time for shopping at local markets, where you can purchase traditional handicrafts, textiles, incense, and souvenirs. Day 09: Departure from Hargeisa
