Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Hargeisa

Arrival & Transfer: Upon arrival at Egal International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, and time permitting, we will explore the city’s vibrant markets and busy streets.

City Highlights: A must-visit is the Livestock Market, where hundreds of camels, goats, and sheep are traded in a bustling atmosphere that feels untouched by time.

Accommodation: Overnight at Gulf Star Hotel (or Maansoor Hotel), Hargeisa.

Day 2: Laas Geel & The Red Sea Coast

Laas Geel: After breakfast, we depart for the Laas Geel cave complex. These remarkable rock shelters feature some of the most impressive Neolithic art in Africa, depicting prehistoric pastoralists and wildlife in vivid color.

Historic Berbera: We continue to the coastal city of Berbera and explore the historic Old Town, where Ottoman, Persian, and British architectural influences meet. Highlights include a visit to a historic Ottoman mosque and a late lunch in a traditional Ottoman house.

Coast & Return: Later, visit Berbera’s untouched beaches for photography and relaxation before returning to Hargeisa in the evening.

Accommodation: Overnight at Gulf Star Hotel (or similar), Hargeisa.

Day 3: Departure

Final Farewell: Your discovery tour concludes today. Depending on your flight schedule, we will provide a private transfer to the airport for your departure.
