Day 01: Arrival in Hargeisa

Welcome to Hargeisa, the vibrant capital of Somaliland. Upon arrival at Hargeisa Egal International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Begin your city tour by visiting the bustling Hargeisa Central Market, one of the largest markets in the Horn of Africa, followed by the famous War Memorial featuring the iconic MiG fighter jet. Day 02: Hargeisa – Laas Geel – Berbera

After breakfast, drive to the remarkable Laas Geel Rock Art Complex, home to some of Africa’s finest prehistoric cave paintings dating back more than 5,000 years. Explore the beautifully preserved rock shelters with your guide before continuing through the scenic Golis Mountains to the historic coastal city of Berbera. Day 03: Explore Berbera

Spend the day discovering Berbera, one of the oldest port cities on the Gulf of Aden. Visit the historic old town with its charming Ottoman and colonial-era buildings, explore the bustling Port of Berbera, and enjoy free time on the city’s white-sand beaches. Fresh seafood lunch and spectacular sunset views over the Gulf of Aden complete the day. Overnight in Berbera.

Day 04: Berbera – Sheikh – Burao

After breakfast, travel through the scenic Sheikh Mountains, stopping at breathtaking viewpoints overlooking the surrounding valleys. Continue to the city of Burao, the commercial center of eastern Somaliland. Explore local markets and experience the warm hospitality and traditions of the Somali people. Overnight in Burao.

Day 05: Burao – Erigavo

Following breakfast, journey north through spectacular mountain scenery to Erigavo, one of Somaliland’s most picturesque highland towns. Along the way, enjoy panoramic landscapes, traditional villages, and unique rock formations. Upon arrival, take a relaxing walk around the town and enjoy its cool mountain climate. Overnight in Erigavo.

Day 06: Daallo Mountains & Daallo Forest

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion to the breathtaking Daallo Mountains, one of Somaliland’s premier natural attractions. Explore the lush Daallo Forest, famous for its juniper trees, dramatic cliffs, diverse birdlife, and panoramic viewpoints. Spend time hiking and photographing the stunning scenery before returning to Erigavo. Overnight in Erigavo.

Day 07: Erigavo – Hargeisa

After breakfast, begin the scenic drive back to Hargeisa, passing through beautiful mountain landscapes and traditional villages. Upon arrival, enjoy free time for shopping at local handicraft markets, where you can purchase textiles, incense, jewelry, and traditional Somali souvenirs. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner celebrating your Somaliland adventure. Overnight in Hargeisa.

Day 08: Departure from Hargeisa

After breakfast, transfer to Hargeisa Egal International Airport for your departure flight, taking home unforgettable memories of Somaliland’s ancient history, spectacular mountains, vibrant culture, and pristine coastline.
