The journey continues into the wild beauty of Awash National Park, home to diverse wildlife, dramatic waterfalls, and soothing hot springs, followed by an off-the-beaten-path exploration of Alidege National Park. A unique train experience then takes you to Dire Dawa, a historic railway town that serves as the gateway to the legendary walled city of Harar. Crossing into Djibouti by train, the landscape transforms into dramatic desert scenery. In Djibouti, you discover some of the most extraordinary natural wonders in the region, including the surreal limestone chimneys of Lake Abbe and the saltcovered expanse of Lake Assal, the lowest point in Africa. Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa

Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our team and begin a full-day exploration of Ethiopia’s vibrant capital. Visits include the National Museum, Entoto Hills for panoramic views of the city, and the bustling Merkato market one of the largest open-air markets in Africa. These experiences provide a rich introduction to the country’s history, culture and daily life before your overnight stay in Addis Ababa.

Day 2: Benuna Village (Lake Beseka)

You board a scenic train for a short and relaxing journey to Benuna Village near Lake Beseka. The day is spent enjoying crocodile viewing along the lakeshore, optional fishing experiences and rejuvenating spa treatments including massage and beauty services.
