Day 2: Addis Ababa – Bahir Dar
After breakfast, drive north through the scenic highlands to Bahir Dar, one of Ethiopia’s most beautiful cities, situated on the southern shores of Lake Tana. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the countryside, villages, and farmland. Upon arrival in Bahir Dar, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax by the lakeside. Day 3: Bahir Dar – Blue Nile Falls and Lake Tana Monasteries

Day 8: Axum – Lalibela
After breakfast, take a scenic drive or flight to Lalibela, often called the “New Jerusalem” of Ethiopia. Day 9: Lalibela – Explore the Second Group of Churches

Day 10: Lalibela – Addis Ababa – Langano

The lake’s brown waters are safe for swimming, and the area is ideal for birdwatching and relaxation. Spend the afternoon enjoying the lakeside environment before overnighting at a resort by the lake.

Day 11: Langano – Arba Minch
