Day 1: Addis Ababa – Dire Dawa
Depart Addis Ababa by flight or drive to Dire Dawa, an important trading city with a unique blend of Ethiopian, Somali, and Arabic cultures. Explore the old railway station, colorful local markets, and historic neighborhoods that reflect the city’s multicultural heritage. Overnight: Dire Dawa
Day 2: Dire Dawa – Harar (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
Drive to Harar, the fourth holiest city of Islam and one of Africa’s most culturally significant towns.
