Program in Detail

Day 1: Fly to Jimma – Chebera Churchura National Park
Transfer to Addis Ababa airport for your flight to the southwestern town of Jimma. Upon arrival, a car will pick you up and drive you to Chebera Churchura National Park. Enjoy the late afternoon sunset surrounded by pristine nature. Overnight at Chebera Churchura Lodge or camping site.

Day 2: Full Day Safari in Chebera Churchura
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of game driving in this recently discovered park rich in wilderness. The park features numerous rivers, streams, and small crater lakes that support diverse wildlife. Its unique topography includes hilly terrain, rolling plains, and deep valleys, home to large mammals such as African elephants, hippopotamuses, Cape buffalo, lions, and leopards, along with colorful bird species like Trogons and Turacos. Day 5: Bonga – Jimma
