Begin with a guided city tour of Djibouti City, exploring historic landmarks, vibrant markets, mosques and Ottoman era architecture. Venture west to the surreal Lake Abbeh, famous for its dramatic limestone chimneys, before discovering the scenic regions of Ali Sabieh and Arta.

Experience the breathtaking salt flats of Lake Assal, the lowest point in Africa, followed by a refreshing escape to lush highland camps such as Day Forest, Bankoualeh, or Dittilou. Continue north to the historic port town of Tadjourah, relax on the pristine white sands of Sable Blanc Beach and enjoy swimming and snorkeling along the Gulf of Tadjourah. Day 1: Djibouti City

Arrival in Djibouti and meet your guide at the airport. Transfer to your hotel for accommodation and rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided city tour including Menelik Palace, Le Marché Central, Grande Pêcherie, Hamoudi Mosque, L’Escale Djibouti, Ottoman style old houses, Stade du Ville and other key landmarks.

Day 2: Djibouti City – Lake Abbeh

After breakfast, drive to Lake Abbeh (also known as Lake Abhe Bad), an endorheic salt lake in East Africa located on the border between Djibouti and Ethiopia, at the western end of the Awash Valley and the Great Gobaad Basin.

Day 3: Lake Abbeh – Ali Sabieh – Arta

Wake up early to further explore Lake Abbeh, then drive to the Ali Sabieh region for lunch and afternoon sightseeing. Continue onward to Arta.

Day 4: Arta – Lake Assal – Day Forest / Bankoualeh / Dittilou

After breakfast, drive to discover Lake Assal, the lowest point in Africa. Later, continue to one of the scenic highland camps Day Forest, Bankoualeh or Dittilou depending on preference.

Day 5: Day Forest / Bankoualeh – Tadjourah

Wake up early to explore one of Djibouti’s most visited highland camps, then continue the journey toward the coastal town of Tadjourah.

Day 6: Tadjourah – Sable Blanc – Djibouti City

After breakfast, drive to Sable Blanc Beach to relax, swim, and snorkel. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Tadjourah before driving back to Djibouti City.

Day 7: Departure

Transfer to the airport and end of the tour.
