Day 1: Addis Ababa – Lalibela – First Exploration

Take a morning flight from Addis Ababa to Lalibela. Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, begin your exploration of the legendary Lalibela Rock-Hewn Churches. Visit the impressive Bete Medhane Alem, one of the largest monolithic churches, followed by Bete Maryam, Bete Maskal, Bete Denagel and other churches in the northern cluster. The highlight of the day is Bete Giyorgis (St. George), the famous cross-shaped church dramatically carved downward into the rock. Day 3: Lalibela – Monastery Visit – Addis Ababa

Enjoy an early breakfast before visiting Naakuto La’ab Monastery, a historic rock-hewn monastery located outside Lalibela, if your flight schedule and road conditions permit. Return to Lalibela and enjoy some free time for souvenir shopping or a final walk through the town. Have lunch before transferring to Lalibela Airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa.
