Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa
Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to rest or explore on your own.

Day 2: Addis Ababa City Tour
After breakfast, begin your exploration of Ethiopia’s capital with visits to Entoto Maryam Church, where you can see imperial artifacts. Next, visit the Ethnological Museum to learn about Ethiopia’s diverse cultures, followed by the National Museum of Ethiopia, home to the famous fossils of Lucy and Selam. Later, explore Merkato, Africa’s largest open-air market, to experience its vibrant atmosphere.

Day 3: Unity Park and Entoto Park Visit
Start your day at Unity Park, located within the National Palace grounds, where you will explore restored imperial buildings and beautifully landscaped gardens. In the afternoon, drive to Entoto Park, situated at 2,900 meters above sea level, offering panoramic views and historical insights as the former capital site.

Day 4: Flight to Gondar and Royal Capital Tour
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Gondar. Upon arrival, visit the Royal Enclosure, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring castles and palaces from Ethiopian emperors. Then explore Debre Birhan Selassie Church, renowned for its angelic ceiling paintings, and finish the day at Fasilides Bath, a historic ceremonial pool.

Day 5: Flight to Lalibela and Rock-Hewn Churches
Take a morning flight to Lalibela. After check-in, visit the remarkable rock-hewn churches including Bete Maryam, Bete Medhane Alem, and the iconic cross-shaped Bete Giyorgis (St. George).

Day 6: Lalibela Excursion
Today, visit the Na’akuto La’ab Monastery, known for its ancient relics and holy water basins, followed by Asheton Maryam Church, which houses centuries-old manuscripts and carved crosses.

Continue exploring Lalibela’s southeastern cluster of churches including Bete Gabriel-Rufael, Bete Marqorios, Bete Emmanuel, and Bete Abba Libanos. In the afternoon, transfer to Lalibela airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa.

Day 8: Traditional Ethiopian Food Tour and Departure
