Day 01: Arrival in Addis Ababa

Welcome to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s vibrant capital. Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel. If time permits, enjoy a city tour featuring the National Museum of Ethiopia, home to the famous fossil “Lucy,” the Holy Trinity Cathedral, and Mount Entoto, offering panoramic views of the city. Day 02: Fly to Bahir Dar – Lake Tana & Blue Nile Falls

Day 03: Drive to Gondar – Castles & Churches

After breakfast, drive to the historic city of Gondar, once the capital of the Ethiopian Empire. Explore the magnificent Fasil Ghebbi (Royal Enclosure), a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring medieval castles and royal palaces. Continue to the beautiful Debre Berhan Selassie Church, renowned for its ceiling decorated with angelic faces, and visit the historic Fasilides Bath. Overnight in Gondar.

Day 04: Fly to Lalibela – Rock-Hewn Churches

After breakfast, transfer to Gondar Airport for your flight to Lalibela, Ethiopia’s spiritual heart. Spend the day exploring the remarkable Rock-Hewn Churches of Lalibela, carved directly from solid volcanic rock during the 12th and 13th centuries. Day 05: Fly to Arba Minch – Dorze Village

Day 06: Lake Chamo Boat Cruise – Konso – Turmi

Day 07: Karo & Mursi Tribes – Fly to Addis Ababa

After breakfast, visit the Karo Tribe at Korcho Village, renowned for their elaborate body painting and dramatic location overlooking the Omo River. Continue to Mago National Park to meet the iconic Mursi Tribe, famous for the decorative lip plates worn by women and their rich cultural traditions.
