Day 01: Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to Cairo, the heart of Egypt and one of the world’s oldest capitals. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or enjoy an optional evening Nile Dinner Cruise with traditional music, belly dancing, and Tanoura performances. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 02: Giza Pyramids, Great Sphinx & Grand Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, begin your unforgettable journey by visiting the legendary Great Pyramids of Giza, including the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Continue to the magnificent Great Sphinx and the ancient Valley Temple. After lunch at a local restaurant, explore the spectacular Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), home to the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian treasures, including the famous artifacts of Tutankhamun. Day 03: Fly to Aswan – Philae Temple & Nile Cruise
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, visit the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and the impressive Aswan High Dam. Later, board your luxury Nile River Cruise, enjoy lunch on board, and relax while sailing along the world’s longest river. Overnight on the Nile Cruise.
Day 04: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples
Enjoy breakfast as the cruise sails to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the fascinating Kom Ombo Temple, uniquely dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus. Continue sailing to Edfu and explore the remarkably well-preserved Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s finest ancient temples. Return to the cruise and continue sailing toward Luxor while enjoying dinner and evening entertainment on board. Overnight on the Nile Cruise.
Day 05: Luxor – Valley of the Kings & Karnak Temple
After breakfast, disembark and explore the treasures of Luxor, often called the world’s greatest open-air museum. Visit the magnificent Valley of the Kings, the burial place of Egypt’s pharaohs, followed by the elegant Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the towering Colossi of Memnon. Continue to the spectacular Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest religious sites ever built. In the evening, transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 06: Old Cairo & Khan El Khalili Bazaar
After breakfast, discover the rich heritage of Old Cairo. Visit the historic Citadel of Saladin, the magnificent Mosque of Mohamed Ali, the famous Hanging Church, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Later, wander through the vibrant Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest markets in the Middle East, where you can shop for handmade souvenirs, jewelry, spices, and traditional crafts. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 07: Departure from Cairo
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before transferring to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight, taking home unforgettable memories of Egypt’s ancient monuments, timeless history, and the beauty of the Nile River.
