Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa

Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel. The day begins with an exclusive visit to a major Ethiopian coffee roastery such as Moyee or Terara, where you will observe the detailed process of sorting and grading coffee beans, roasting under expert supervision, and packaging for export. The experience concludes with a professional coffee cupping session. Around midday, you will drive to the Entoto Mountains for panoramic views of Addis Ababa, followed by a visit to the National Museum. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a traditional restaurant. Overnight stay at Aya Addis Hotel.

Day 2: Addis Ababa – Jimma (Into the Kingdom of Kaffa)

You will fly to Jimma and continue by road to Bonga, located in the heart of the Kaffa Biosphere Reserve. Here, you will visit Mankira, the legendary site where wild Arabica coffee was first discovered. The day includes exploration of lush coffee forests, plantations, and hidden waterfalls before retiring to Lewi Resort for the night.

Day 3: Expedition to Chebera Churchura

The journey continues into one of Ethiopia’s most pristine wilderness areas, Chebera Churchura National Park. Upon arrival, you will settle into Elephant Lodge, ideally located to provide full immersion in the surrounding natural environment. Overnight stay at Elephant Lodge.

Day 4: Chebera Churchura Exploration

This day is dedicated to exploring the diverse ecosystems of the park, ranging from open savanna to dense forest. It is one of the best locations in Ethiopia to observe African elephants and buffalo in their natural habitat. You will also visit scenic waterfalls and secluded lakes scattered throughout the landscape. Overnight stay at Elephant Lodge.

Day 5: Scenic Drive to Arba Minch

You will drive toward Arba Minch, with a stop in Sodo for a traditional lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the Dorze community in the highlands, where you will experience their distinctive bamboo architecture and vibrant cultural traditions. Overnight stay at Haile Resort Arba Minch.

Day 6: Arba Minch and Lake Chamo

After breakfast, you will take a boat cruise on Lake Chamo, the third largest lake in Ethiopia. The excursion offers excellent opportunities to observe large Nile crocodiles along the northern shores, as well as hippos and a wide variety of aquatic bird species. The lake stretches approximately 32 kilometers and supports a rich ecosystem of flora and fauna. Overnight stay at Haile Resort Arba Minch.

Day 7: Return to Addis Ababa and Departure

You will fly from Arba Minch back to Addis Ababa in time for your international departure. This marks the end of the service.
