This 4-day tour combines the cultural highlights of Addis Ababa with the breathtaking landscapes of Bale Mountains National Park. Day 01: Arrival and Sightseeing in Addis Ababa
Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After refreshing, begin your sightseeing tour of Addis Ababa with a drive up to Mount Entoto for a panoramic view of the city. Descend to visit the National Museum, home to the famous 3.2-million-year-old fossil “Lucy.” Continue to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, built during World War II, and proceed to the Ethnographic Museum, which was once the palace of Emperor Haile Selassie.

Day 02: Drive from Addis Ababa to Bale Mountains National Park
After breakfast, depart southwards for Bale Mountains National Park. Upon arrival at the park headquarters in Dinsho, take a short introductory hike through the area. You may encounter endemic mammals such as the graceful Mountain Nyala and Menelik’s Bushbuck, as well as a variety of highland bird species unique to this region.

Day 03: Excursion to Sanetti Plateau and Harenna Forest
Today, embark on a full-day exploration of the Sanetti Plateau, the highest plateau in Africa. With a bit of luck, you may spot the rare and endangered Ethiopian Wolf, the world’s most threatened canid. Continue south to the lush Harenna Forest, Ethiopia’s second-largest forest, characterized by towering trees, rich birdlife, and unique wildlife species that thrive in its cool, misty atmosphere.

Day 04: Return to Addis Ababa and Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Addis Ababa, enjoying scenic views of the Ethiopian highlands along the way. In the evening, savor a farewell folkloric dinner featuring traditional Ethiopian cuisine, live cultural music, and vibrant dances from various ethnic groups. Experience the renowned Ethiopian coffee ceremony before being transferred to the airport for your international departure.
