Day 1: Addis Ababa – Arbaminch – Dorze Cultural Experience

Take a morning flight from Addis Ababa to Arbaminch, the gateway to the spectacular landscapes of southern Ethiopia. Upon arrival, meet your guide and drive into the Dorze Highlands, home to the Dorze people, famous for their distinctive bamboo houses, traditional weaving, colorful textiles and agricultural traditions. Visit a traditional Dorze village and learn about local life, including the cultivation of enset (false banana), traditional food preparation, weaving, and community customs. Enjoy a traditional lunch before exploring the surrounding highlands, with beautiful views over the Rift Valley and nearby lakes. Return to Arbaminch in the late afternoon and relax at your hotel.

Day 2: Lake Chamo Boat Trip – Wildlife & Arbaminch Nature

After breakfast, head to Lake Chamo for a memorable boat excursion. Cruise across the lake and observe its abundant wildlife, including large Nile crocodiles, hippos and numerous water birds. The peaceful lake scenery, surrounded by mountains and forests, provides excellent opportunities for photography. After the boat trip, visit Nech Sar National Park, where the contrasting landscapes of the park offer opportunities to see wildlife and enjoy spectacular views across the Rift Valley. Continue to the famous Bridge of God, the narrow land formation separating Lake Chamo and Lake Abaya. Return to Arbaminch for an evening at leisure.

Day 3: Arbaminch – Scenic Rift Valley Journey – Addis Ababa

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning in Arbaminch and take in the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. Depending on your departure schedule, visit a local market or handicraft center to experience everyday life in southern Ethiopia and shop for traditional textiles and souvenirs. Later, transfer to Arbaminch Airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa. Upon arrival, connect with your international departure flight or continue with your onward travel arrangements. End of tour
